Designer is descriptive of the way I approach the world and what I was meant to be. I have a true interest in people and an insatiable interest in experiences. Those couple nicely in the realm of design. Of all the design disciplines, it is interior design that is most directly related to personal experience.
I use that as a guiding principle in my designs and in the lead of my studio. We are fortunate to enjoy collaborations with clients, other designers and architects, trade professionals, general contractors and talented craftsman + artists..
I believe my passion for history, concept and storytelling is behind my tenacity for collecting and arranging. I love the imperfections of an antique and the worn quality a beautiful river stone. That interest can be reflected in interiors when mixed thoughtfully with other pieces - a signature in my work.
I keep an eye to life - nature, travel, antiquing, reading, styling and art. I love dogs + riding a bicycle. I relish and savor long dinners with friends + family and but find creative comfort in quiet moments alone. I dream of returning to Italy for all the sensory and soul fuel it gives me.
I have been fortunate to have had many past and present life and design mentors and I am grateful for each of you.
